The Slow Road
The Slow Road is an iPhone app for exploring the American Southwest, starting with Utah: its state and national parks, monuments, scenic byways, back roads and historic sites. It shows you where to go, keeps a field journal of the places you've been and the roads you've driven, names the plants and rocks you photograph, and, if you turn it on, tells you stories about what you're passing as you drive. It's made by one person, it's free, and it has no ads and no accounts.
